Sarracenia Hummer's Hammerhead

Sarracenia 'Hummer's Hammerhead' is the hybrid S. (psittacina x alabamensis) x alabamensis. The late season pitchers are where the real show is as they show stronger features. The bright yellow pitchers with bright red venation throughout are upright while the hood is flattened, elongated and points somewhat downward. The plant is compact compared to other Sarracenia as it only grows to around 4-8". The deep red flower petals contrast nicely with the golden pitchers. Sold bare root.
