Nepenthes sanguinea is a tropical pitcher plant that grows pitchers at the end of its leaves, where it holds a pool of enzymes. It is here where the bugs are captured and consumed by the plant. Plant is shipped potted in 3.5" square pot.

First I am trying to think of enough words that would tell you how happy I am with Flytrap. I don't know how they do it and I don't care all I know is with Andrew his help on question the shipping the care the plants are given I am speechless on the whole thing I really don't think you are going to find a better place to go for your plants and your plant needs I know for a fact I will not buy from ANYONE else

Plants are healthy and look vigorous. No signs of shock after about a week in my growing conditions. Can't wait to see how the pitchers turn out on this one.

I grew this for years in full sun and low humidity. It pitchered like clockwork and was always a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, I lost my original to a gardener who must have thought it was a weed and snapped the main vine without telling anyone (jerk!). As long as you don't actively try to kill this one, it will grow happily for you in just about any conditions.
