N. thorelii x N. wittei

This plant known as, N. thorelii x N. wittei has been in collections for over 25 years (as of 2016).  Although, it is probably not thorelii or witteii, we grow it a bit more on the warm side of intermediate.  Most plants that are labelled thorelii are actually smilesii since wittei has been missing for years.  We agree that it's best to not try and change old labels to avoid confusion, unless a positive ID can be made. It's a nice plant, fast grower, with large purple/maroon blotched pitchers.  Plant is shipped potted in 3.5" square pot.
