Pitcher Plant
Pitcher Plants come from North America. Most grow very showy and upright tubes of which the bugs crawl down and get stuck and drowned in the enzymes produced by the plant. Some plants in this group do not grow tall, but rather lay down along the ground.

Butterwort
Butterwort (Pinguicula)are generally low lying plants where some say the plant themselves look like flowers. They grow in rosette form, near the ground and the whole leaf is a slimy trap waiting for smaller bugs to land on it. They typically catch spring tails, gnats, or even small flys. The flowers can be good sized and generally amazing colors.
